As many of you know, Jim has been hiking the Appalachian Trail. A blog about his experiences can be accessed by clicking on the link below (Mindful Journey of Faith). If you would like to pledge any amount per mile for the miles hiked by Jim, please click on "email" and let him know your pledge amount. Jim has hiked 400 miles thus far. At the end of the summer he will send you an envelope addressed to either American Jewish World Service or to Church World Service as you prefer. In this envelope you may send a check for your pledged amount per mile multiplied by the total miles Jim hikes to either AJWS or CWS. Jim intends to give $.18 per mile to each of these two great organizations (see links below). Jim's trail name is Elgixin, a name given to him when he became a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow in 1964. This is a journey of faith and mindfulness, and you are invited to come along through the materials posted.
